Latest update following ongoing reports of interruptions to the supply of Typhoid and Hepatitis A/Typhoid Vaccines:
Sanofi Pasteur MSD has confirmed they now have Typhim Vi® (Vi polysaccharide typhoid vaccine) singles back in stock, and they are currently able to fulfill daily orders and standing orders.
Sanofi Pasteur MSD has advised that ViATIM® (hepatitis A/typhoid vaccine) is temporarily out of stock, however, they anticipate normal supply by the end of September 2014. MASTA has confirmed that they currently have supply of ViATIM®, however, they cannot give certainty of forwards supply once current stock depleted.
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) have confirmed they currently have no supply of Typherix® (Vi polysaccharide typhoid vaccine) or Hepatyrix® (hepatitis A and typhoid combined), and do not anticipate any supply to be available before Q1 2015.
MASTA have confirmed stock orders of Vivotif® which have already cleared production and therefore, they anticipate a continued supply throughout the remainder of 2014 and into early 2015.
